In eight years as an architect, Mr. Teufel has gained extensive experience in the design and construction of a variety of building types, including educational and healthcare facilities and high-end residences, along with a specialized focus on library programming and design. He relishes the challenge of renovation and adaptive re-use projects in addition to new construction. His particular areas of interest lie in urban design and campus planning, exploring ways for individual buildings to respond to their context and contribute to the creation of better communities.

Mr. Teufel's strengths lie in his ability to integrate both traditional and innovative materials and methods into intelligent and well-crafted spaces, and to manage the collaborative process of design and construction to achieve appropriate solutions. He embraces each project from programming and conceptual design, through construction documentation and bidding, and ultimately, construction administration. Mr. Teufel continually strives to represent the client's goals throughout all phases of the project, including those related to schedule and budgetary requirements.
