Since his graduation from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002, Mr. Lundgren has participated on a variety of projects, ranging from smaller scale works, such as commercial office renovations, to those of a much larger scale, including a multi-story university laboratory building. In addition, he has been involved in projects that require the resolution of complex technical issues or require striking a balance between conflicting design issues, such as the construction of a new building to house radio station operations that is located in a dense, urban historic district. His involvement in all of these projects ranges from generating initial concept drawings and models through to the preparation of construction documents and participation in construction administration activities. Mr. Lundgren's design focus is on the interrelationship of programmatic elements and their aesthetic influence on the building. He has continually demonstrated the ability to quickly develop multiple iterations of conceptual design and programmatic alternatives for both in-house and client review. He possesses exceptional abilities in preparing presentations of project designs in both two-dimensional (drawing) and three-dimensional (model) forms. |
